on Veridian III, Soran see's Kirk for the first time and asks in a very nasty tone of voice to Kirk
"Just who the hell are you?" then Picard says Bursting with Pride

Soran aims his weapon at Kirk's head and says "Actually, I am familiar with history Captain, and if I'm
not too much mistaken you're dead" When would anyone Proudly introduce Picard to anyone ? Never

Federation and Entire Galaxy once and for all, and Picard worries it would be "Genocide" of the Borg race, which is what the Borg do to other Races, they encounter, destroy and assimilate entire Races and Worlds, Picard cares more about the Borg than their Victims
and we see the Negative Destructive Results of Picard's refusal to finish off the Borg in the later episodes of TNG, the episodes "Descent" Parts I & II where
Admiral Nechayev Picard's direct superior who has a poor working relationship with Picard, Admiral Nechayev believed Picard was too soft-handed in his dealings with
Federation Adversaries, She Scolded Picard for not using "Hugh" and the Invasive Program to Destroy the Borg Race once and for all, and orders Picard to use the
Invasive Program to Destroy the Entire Borg Collective if the Opportunity presents itself again, If Kirk was Captain in the episode of TNG "I Borg" he would have used

about Picard "I never met anyone with more drive, Determination or More Courage than Jean-Luc Picard, there is No Way in Hell he would assist the Borg, I want that clear"

  89. 1. Star Trek fans commonly consider the Star Trek Films to be under a "curse" with Even Number Trek films being considered good, and odd number Trek films considered bad,
For Example, Even Number Trek Films, 2- The Wrath of Khan, 4-The Voyage Home, 6-The Undiscovered Country & 8-First Contact were considered good, "Nemesis" was #10 in the Trek series, While "Nemesis" was an even number film, it was bad, The Odd Number Trek Films, 1- The Motion Picture, 3-The Search for Spock, 5-The Final Frontier, 7-Generations & 9-Insurrection were considered bad, while the Odd Numbered 11th Trek Film, the 2009 "Star Trek" Reboot was considered very good , because it had young Kirk and his Crew !! Kirk's reboot crew defied the curse of the odd numbered Trek films, The Trek Film "curse" is mentioned often in pop culture, a 1999 episode of the British Public Service Channel 4 sitcom "Spaced"
had the character of Tim Bisley(played by Simon Pegg) speaking about the Trek Film "Curse" the same Simon Pegg, that played Scotty in the 2009 "Star Trek" Film and subsequent films,

Mercy Hospital, Dr. Taylor tells Kirk the radio frequency to track the humpback whales George & Gracie is 401 megahertz, Kirk says to Dr. Taylor
"Thank you, for Everything, Scotty Beam me up" Dr. Taylor then jumps into Kirk's arms and says "Surprise" just as Kirk was beaming onto the HMS Bounty,
Kirk then says to Spock "Spock where the hell's the power you promised?" Spock replies "One Damn minute Admiral" Good Funny lines, when would any woman
ever jump into Picard's arms ?

    2. In Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home, early in the film, after the Klingon Vessel the HMS Bounty travels back in time to the 20th century, Earth appears on the viewscreen
of the Bounty, Kirk says "Earth, but when Spock?" Spock replies "Judging by the Pollution content of the Atmosphere I believe we have arrived at the latter half of the
20th century. Kirk replies "Well done Spock!" while raising his fist in Triumph , Spock replies "Admiral if I may we are probably already visible to the tracking devices of the
time, Kirk then replies "Quite right Mr.Spock, engage cloaking device Mr.Chekov" then a while later in the film, when Kirk & Spock are touring the Cetacean Institute
Dr. Gillian Taylor is distraught speaking about how whales are being hunted to the brink of extinction , Spock says to Dr. Taylor
"To Hunt a species to Extinction is Not Logical" Dr. Taylor replies "Whoever said the Human Race was Logical?" The Point is "The Voyage Home" was such a

"Explore the Franchise Frontier that Boldy goes where no other has gone before" and "The opening line of the series proposal Gene Roddenberry used to sell
his risky idea to studio executives was "Star Trek will be a television first" Star Trek was indeed the first of it's kind, transforming perceptions about science fiction in
popular entertainment. But it was also first in galvanizing a fan base and influencing society in ways like no show before it. Each day, people who have never watched an
episode or the movies benefit from the technology and culture the series inspired. What was disarmingly pitched as a western in outer space birthed a series that
broke boundaries. Few Entertainment Franchises come close to matching Star Trek's longevity and cultural impact" That was said about the entire Star Trek Franchise but about

that "Space may have been the final frontier, but the reason, we fell in love with Star Trek because of who was going boldly where no one had gone before, Kirk, Spock and McCoy, shipmates, opposites, friends" and it continues ...
"Sigmund Freud claimed that the Psyche was constituted of three distinct elements - the Impulsive, pleasure seeking Id, the logical, self-regulating Ego, and the Moralistic, self-Judging superego(Do you see where we're going with this?) The Psyche of Star Trek is likewise built around the three key figures of the libidinous, devil-may care Captain Kirk, the emotionless rationale of Mr. Spock, and the passionate conscience of Dr. McCoy, Each is a joy, but when sparking off each other, this interstellar triptych is a wonder. The affection that built between these men was infectious, their bonds of friendship "fascinating" the cultural divides they spanned amusing and profound. In many ways it was the Perfect Platonic love triange each pairing had a specific dynamic that stood apart from any other. Kirk and Spock's outlook and style complemented each other both as friends and in command combining together to become a formidable team based on powerful instinct, piercing logic and genius lateral thinking.
Kirk and Bones had the comfortable candidness of old drinking buddies, with an edge of avuncular disapproval from McCoy concerning Kirk's tendency to rush in where angels fear to tread, with Kirk occasionally dismissive of McCoy's "older brother" chastising, McCoy and Spock couldn't have been more different if one had been made of oily chalk and the other watery cheese(eugh) but their painted-yet-playful interplay remains a true delight" and it also says "Three's a Charm, Kirk,Spock and McCoy fulfill a tradition of dramatic archetypes, as defined by Greek philosopher Aristotle, Kirk is the pathos(the emotional) Spock is logos(the logical) and McCoy ethos(the ethical) the mythic triumvirate from which all drama stems, Gene Roddenberry acknowledged this, saying that the three men personified the internal debate we all have within us- of emotion, logic and pragmatism, and that's "McCoy & Spock would always united in support and defense of Kirk" and it says next to a Picture of Kirk,Spock & McCoy, "Spock,Kirk & McCoy" AKA Trek's Holy Trinity"

    5. In 2011 William Shatner himself said some very wise words about the hot topic of debate over which is Better, Star Trek or Star Wars, these words appeared on the website
tekgoblin.com Shatner said "Star Trek had relationships and conflict among the relationship as well as stories that involved humanity. Star Wars was special effects it was ILM(Industrial Lights and Magic) at its best. First of all Star Wars is derivative of Star Trek by 10,15, 20 years whatever it was. DERIVATIVE! The only thing they had was... Our special effects as good as they were(laughs). God knows what those actors looked like in reality with all those special effects. I mean there's no telling what ILM did to those faces and those hairdos, they may have walked around with nothing on and they got clothed and made up by ILM. We don't know! There's no question that we puny humans on Star Trek facing that cold camera everyday were exposed to a far greater degree. Tight fitting clothes after lunch as well. There is a BIG difference between Star Wars and Star Trek and with J.J. Abrams piling on the special effects now uh I would say that there is a resurgence of Star Trek in a big movie frame that supersedes Star Wars. On EVERY level! Now look at that, I've just discovered something, not only was the television show more humane and dealt with more human principals than Star Wars but now Star Trek has even more special effects than Star Wars. So Star Wars has nothing to expand on. Princess Leia is as beautiful as she was and as wonderful an actress as she is can't compare to the marvelous heroines that we had on Star Trek. I'm saying, I'm not saying that the pretty girls and they were pretty on Star Wars absolutely I'm not saying that Star Trek is the only thing that its better than Star Wars I'm saying that the stories were better. The perfect union between Star Trek and Star Wars would be if Captain Kirk and Princess Leia were to run off together pursued by Chewbacca" and the website adds "There you have it, straight from the horses mouth. There really is no comparison between Star Trek and Star Wars, they are different and that's how it should be."
